Deadlock’s Snazziest Rich Boy, Apollo, Gets Nerfed After Terrorizing Matches: ‘Yoshi Took Him Out Back’
Apollo, a duelist character in Deadlock, has been nerfed after terrorizing matches. The hero’s mobility and tankiness made him hard to escape from and hit. Flawless Advance, his third ability, was particularly problematic due to its heal effect when connected with a hero.
The changes include:
- Reduced hit radius
- Decreased damage
- Slashed spirit scaling
- Reduced healing on hit
- Improved counter for Disengaging Sigil
Players are celebrating the nerf, saying “Damn they beat his ass” and “Yoshi took him out back.” The nerfs aim to balance Apollo’s playstyle.
Apologies to Celeste fans who spent hours voting for her. Deadlock’s newest hero, Silver, got a soft rework just as players were getting used to her. The game’s community is relieved that Apollo is no longer too powerful.
